NTS Transcriptions was formed in 2002 by Mike Scales and Paul Jenkin as a specialist medical transcription company. Their mission was to create an Australian specialist medical transcription company that provided fast and accurate transcription with a specific focus on customer service. NTS was one of the first fully digital transcription companies in Australia and continues to be 100% Australian owned and operated. Since its inception, NTS has gone from strength to strength to now be regarded as an industry leader with state of the art software, an incredibly stable workforce and steady growth, but along the way maintaining their personal customer focus. We pride ourselves on working with our clients to tailor a solution that suits their needs and improves process efficiencies.
Paul Jenkin – Director Co-founder
As previous Victorian State Manager for Drake’s medical division, Paul implemented many large government and private hospital recruitment contracts. Paul has a background as a Division 1 Registered Nurse and qualifications of a Graduate Diploma of Management from Swinburne University. Paul is responsible for overseeing NTS Operations, including typing, QA, training and finance.
Mike Scales – Director Co-founder
Past experience in Pharmacy Sales, before becoming Sales and Marketing Manager for Protec Health Pty Ltd, UK., with a Certificate IV – Chartered Institute of Marketing UK. Upon returning to Australia worked as Account Manager for Drake International (Medical). Currently developing and implementing strategies for NTS Transcriptions to increase business and liaising closely with clients to ensure an optimum service delivery.
Naydeen Frecklington – Operations Manager
Naydeen has held positions of account manager for The Brand Agency and recruitment officer for Drake’s medical division recruiting and placing nurses on an International level. Other positions held include administration, personal assistant and client liaison. Supporting her work in communication and team support are qualifications of BA Arts & Graphic Design and a Certificate IV in Life Coaching. As Operations Manager Naydeen is responsible for ensuring high quality and timely transcripts for NTS clients.
David Frecklington – Client Services Manager
David has a broad variety of experience in the science, IT and education fields. Following completion of a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) David began work in research. He then completed a DipEd and moved into teaching before heading into the IT field with the Department of Education. David is now responsible for all IT and client support with NTS, overseeing a dedicated team of four.
Juliet Spencer – National Business Development Manager
Juliet has extensive experience within the healthcare industry, with a background in nursing, occupational health and safety and medical device sales. Juliet has a Graduate Certificate in Management and Marketing Management qualifications. Her roles have been based in both the UK and Australia and have included, National Sales Management, Key Account and Commercial roles within 3M Health care, Coloplast Pty Ltd and Fisher and Paykel Healthcare. She has an in depth understanding of the needs of healthcare organisations, both private and public, and the ability to tailor business focused solutions to maximise efficiencies and develop enduring client partnerships.
